Arne Slot tipped Conor Bradley to fill the void left by Alexander-Arnold

Liverpool manager Arne Slot hailed Conor Bradley as Trent Alexander-Arnold’s natural successor at right-back for the Reds.

Even going so far as to compare the 21-year-old to Paris Saint-Germain’s flying defender Achraf Hakimi.

Alexander-Arnold officially confirmed the end of his 20-year association with Liverpool once his contract expires in June. While there has plenty of talk surrounding new signings to replace the outgoing creative fulcrum, Slot has openly stressed his confidence in Bradley’s ability to step up to a first-team role.

“Conor has such an intense playing style,” the Reds boss gushed this week. “They all run a lot, but Conor is in his own league. Comparable maybe with Hakimi at PSG. He is everywhere during the game as well.”

Hakimi’s all-action style was too much for สมัครสมาชิก UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีทุกวัน Arsenal to handle. The tireless full-back scored PSG’s second goal in a 2-1 victory over the Gunners in midweek to confirm his side’s spot in the Champions League final.

“But Hakimi is 26,” Slot warned. “He is much more used to doing this every single week. He needs time, Conor, and a good programme to keep him fit.”

Bradley filled in admirably for Alexander-Arnold after his teammate was sidelined through injury earlier this season. However, the Northern Ireland international picked up a muscular issue of his own which forced Slot to field Joe Gomez, Jarell Quansah and even midfielder Curtis Jones at right-back on occasion.
