Torres comes back to manage Atletico youth team. La Liga champions Atletico Madrid have confirmed former striker Fernando Torres. Prepare to return to the club as a youth team coach.

Torres grew up from the youth team of Atletico Madrid before making his debut with the first team in 2001 until his birth in the football industry. Before moving to Liverpool, Chelsea, AC Milan until returning to play with Atletico in 2015 and moving to the end of his career with Sagan Tosu in the 2018-2019 season.

The 37-year-old former striker returned to work as one of Atletico Madrid’s youth-team coaching staff last season. But he decided to leave the club in February. Before being pulled back as a trainer for the U-19 team Play next season 

‘Fernando Torres has returned home, the Atletico legend has returned to our club to manage the Under-19s for the 2021-2022 season,’ a statement read.
