Former Manchester United defender Phil Jones is confident. Marcus Rashford will return strong for next season’s Premier League campaign after missing out on Euro 2024.

    Rashford scored just eight goals in all competitions for the Red Devils last season. And his poor form saw him omitted from Gareth Southgate’s squad for Germany. UFABET 

    Jones said: “Rashford is the one I think is the biggest decision. It’s a tough call and I’m not saying it’s right or wrong,” Jones said.

    “I always thought with Marcus – even though he hasn’t had a great season. With his talent he can do something special. I know him as a friend and as a player. I think he can definitely bring something, especially in the games where we have to struggle.”

    “He’s got the intelligence, the little bit of magic that he can show, pull the trigger and win you games – but again. There are so many talented players to choose from. So there’s always going to be someone who’s left out and unfortunately this year it’s him.”

    “He’s one of the best players I’ve ever played with. He’s got a strong mentality. I’m sure he’ll be back scoring goals again next season… I’m sure he’ll have a good pre-season.”
